This term, I am going to focus on getting my work finished. I am going to improve my writing skills so I can write faster with no writing errors by practise my writing. I will also improve my Working speed so I can do other stuff in the day and also because I don’t have to worry about it later in the week

This is another Poem

The Forest

The forest is like a peaceful cat, full of small fleas and bugs,

The forest is also a large labyrinth, almost impossible to get out of,

The forest purrs when it’s asleep, roars when it’s active,

The forest grows a thick heap of trees and expands more and more,

But the forest gets angry when people shave him with chainsaws,

For the noise frightens his inhabitants and he loses hair,

The forest tries as hard as he can to regain his hair he has lost,

But he just can’t do it fast enough,

So he starts to go bare of trees and lonely of inhabitants,

 And soon the forest is nothing but a piece of land.

At 9:30 am on Thursday 17th of May, me and some other people went to cycle day at school. The police checked our bikes and then we were split into 4 groups. I went into group 4 and went to go on the bike trials. There, we were trialed to ride a km as fast as we could and the line was so long that I went on after morning tea.

 We rode around the field a couple of times and went for a ride around town and then came back to school and had a big feed then the police man gave us some stuff for our bikes and went away. I had a great time at cycle day and wand to have another day like it.

This is my concept poem:

Sadness

Sadness was a very intelligent child.  He usually stayed in his room all day and barely went to school.  If he went to school, some children would bully him and steal his lunch. In class, he would excel in all topics in the accelerated learning class.  After school, he would be bullied all the way home.  Sadness didn’t mind being bullied, he was used to it.  When he got home, he would go into his room and study.

When Sadness was 16, he went to university to go for his scientist’s degree.  While he was in university, he excelled all required intelligence.  After university, not very many people talked to him because he was only 17 when he finished.

Sadness spent most of the day studying his work over and over until he thinks it is to his satisfaction and he would send it away and have something to eat.  Sadness had a lonely life in a small house with all he needs.  He never spoke with anyone because he thinks they will be mean to him.

Sadness grew old and retired from work.  He started talking to people but he didn’t talk very much about himself. When he turned 80, he grew used to talking to people about his life and he grew happy. Soon, sadness was so happy that people started to call him happiness and he loved it. When he grew to 85, he got married and lived in a bigger house. Happiness died at 95 and he was proud of the late years of his life.

Anaru

A pitbull dog has attacked a lady and mauled a young boy. The lady died from shock and the boys injuries are so serious, he had to be hospitalised. Many people want to ban the pitbull dogs and the government is discusing on the topic

Once, I was attacked by a bulldog while posting fliers. The dog gave me a deep hole in my right thigh but all I needed was something to cover it up.

I think that the pitbull dogs are very dangerous and will kill another person. So I think that the dogs may need to be banned from pet owners.

This is my colour poem that I  wrote:

Sad Blue

Blue is cold, blue is like ice, blue is like water, swirling around,

Blue is sad, blue is depressing, Blue is the colour of tears,

Blue also can be cheerful, nice, warm and happy,

Blue is like the rain, clear and cool, nice to have fun in,

Blue water is at the beach, with people splashing around it,

Blue is the colour of the sea, long and wide and full of fish,

Blue is like the sky, Spinning high around the world,

I like blue, it is really cool, rotating around in the air.

My term 2 goals are:

I am going to learn to write up stuff fast and neatly by practising my writing skills.

I am going to finish my english work in time by writing faster.

I am going to learn to multiply decimals and fractions by focusing on the task I have to do.

The pools are deep and wide
The hydro slides are treacherous and dark
All you see is darkness
In the end, we get out, wet

ONTV Studio
In the news studio
Cameras are running,
People are talking,
And the control rooms working
To make a news program

Abseiling
At the top of a cliff
We are going to abseil
We go down two at a time
And walk up the hill again

Rock Climbing
At the bottom of the cliff, we wait
In the middle of the cliff, we are climbing
At the top of the cliff, we touch the thing
And abseil back down
